School Assessment and Evaluation
Kindergarten (Nur-UKG)
- No Formal Examination from Nursery to UKG.
- Assessment of the skills acquired is done at the end of each quarter i.e. in May, September, December and March.
- For Promotion to the next class level of skills acquired at the end of session is taken into consideration.
Primary (I-V)
- Session is divided into two terms term - Term I and II. Each term carries the weightage of 50%.
- Each term is further divided into two units.
- Assessment of the competencies attained is conducted at the end of each unit. Grading system is followed.
- For promotion to the next class, final consolidated grade is taken into consideration.
Middle (VI-VIII)
- Two Terms
- Term I- Pre Mid Term and Mid Term
- Term II- Post Mid Term and Final Exams
- Assessment is done on the basis of performance in
(i) Periodic Test (ii) Subject Enrichment Activities (iii) Notebook Competition
- Promotion is on the basis of final consolidated result.
Seniors (IX)
- Annual System
- Internal Assessment is done on the basis of performance in --- Periodic test, Subject Enrichment Activities, Notebook Completion, Portfolios, Assignment completion etc.
- Promotion is on the basis of final consolidated result.
Seniors (XI)
- According to CBSE there will be Annual Examination System
Weightage of Dec Unit Test (Post mid) 10%
Half-yearly Exams(Mid Term) 30%
Final Exams 60%
For promotion to the next class, both final and consolidated results will be taken into consideration.
