|Examination & Promotion System|
(a) Examination The whole syllabus from class Nursery to Class XII is divided
into two semesters. Each semester is divided into two units. The first unit is held
in the second week of May followed by first semester exam in the first week of September.
The second unit is held in the third week of December followed by second semester
exam in the first week of March. 10% of the marks obtained by a child in May &
December + 30% of the marks in first semester + 50% of marks in second semester
are carried for the Final Consolidated results of the child. (Except for class X
for XI - 10% in Dec.
30% in Sept.
60% in Second Semester
(b) Promotion A student must get 40% marks in each subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate to qualify himself/ herself for promotion to the next higher class. However, the decision of the Principal in the matter of promotion will be final. A student who remains absent from an examination for any reason shall not be re-examined. A student who fails in the consolidated final result ceases to be on the rolls of the school on 31st of March.
