Rainwater harvesting in school.

Rainwater harvesting is collection and storage of rainwater that runs off from roof tops, roads, open grounds. This water runoff can be recharged into groundwater. Rain water harvesting system was installed by Ludhiana Beverages Pvt. Ltd in BCM Arya in the year 2010 for recharging rainwater to the extent of 6480kl water annually into the groundwater. The system is providing us excellent results as large quantity of water is recharged and it is increasing the groundwater level. There are three recharge including one tank of 72000 litres and two tanks of 54000 litres capacity
